I think I have done a disservice to a percentage of those connected to me or following me (or hopefully soon to be connected to), by not introducing myself or providing some insight to who I am. Talking about myself is not in my comfort zone, but I am going to take a stab at it and hopefully a majority of you can get through the entirety of this post! Let me try to pick a few things:
1. I am very happily married (soon to be 10yrs) to my best friend. She is in many ways, what I am not and that is what I admire about her, and sometimes what frustrates me as well!
2. No kids, just a furry, very needy rescue child named Sammy!
3. Transplant from CO to AZ, and have lived in the NW valley for almost 40yrs.
4. Worked in the aerospace industry for over 25yrs until a mfg closure required a change of occupation. With years of building relationships and negotiating contracts, becoming a REALTOR felt like a good next career and I have learned a lot in it so far!
5. I enjoy helping others and have a history of helping with back-to-school drives, helping Special Olympics, donating bicycles to less fortunate, helping with United Way drives, and ongoing donator to St Judes for several years among others.
6. Have a very successful brother working with the Discount Tire Corp with a niece and nephew I am proud of.
7. With this new career comes the need to market myself and the need to get in front of the camera for digital content, and this is not my jam! I am giving it a shot though, so be gentle with any criticism of videos I post….I am very sensitive!
8. I do Crossfit which is very much a love/hate relationship. Hate the pain and the hard workouts, but love the people, the positivity, and the feeling of accomplishment. Would love to answer any questions you may have about it if you have had any interest in trying it.
9. I admire genuine people, respect hard work and loyalty, and people that love animals are generally good humans!
10. For those that have held on to the end, it is my birthday today, so thank you, I will take that as my gift
from you!
